A coffee percolator is a type of container used to brew coffee by continuously passing boiling or near-boiling water through ground coffee by gravity until the desired strength of the hot beverage is achieved. The ground coffee is stored in a perforated metal filter basket.
The HENDI UNIQ percolator is crafted with precision and style – with its elegant matte black finish, it stands out on any buffet. It is equipped with practical features such as an anti-drip tap, water level indicator and automatic keep-warm function, ensuring smooth and reliable hot beverage service every time.
Instructions for using the Hendi Uniq percolator:
1. Clean the filter, filter cover, percolator tube and the inside of the tank with a non-abrasive detergent and rinse with clean water.
2. Pour cold water into the tank; the tank should be filled at least half.
3. Place the percolator tube firmly into the recess at the bottom of the tank and slide the filter tray onto it.
4. Pour the ground coffee into the filter and place the filter cover on top. Close the tank cover.
5. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet and turn the power switch to the "ON" position.
6. When the indicator light turns green, the brewing process is complete.
7. The heating system will now automatically turn on to keep the coffee warm. Percolators automatically keep warm after brewing.
8. When there are approximately 3 cups of coffee left in the tank, turn off the power and unplug the cord.
Tip: use 500 grams of coarse ground coffee per 10 liters of water
