Product description

Settecento Stone Washed cutlery is treated to create a vintage effect on the stainless steel and a deliberately uneven look, so each piece is unique. The aim is to offer quality cutlery that also creates a retro atmosphere. Settecento line cutlery, made of quality 18/10 stainless steel (18% chromium / 10% nickel). Thanks to the high chromium content, such cutlery is stronger, more durable and rust-resistant, while the high nickel content gives it an exceptionally high shine.

At 3mm thick, the Settecento Stone Washed PVD line with its special retro shape draws plenty of attention to your service, while its bronze finish adds a unique experience.

Pinti Luxury lines are treated with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) – an innovative coating technology that applies a thin film (just a few microns) to the cutlery, giving exceptional surface hardness (unlike painted cutlery). PVD takes place in a vacuum chamber, where metals such as titanium, zirconium and chromium are evaporated and bond to the cutlery surface, creating the desired coating. The result is higher surface hardness and the possibility of different colours.

Pinti Luxury lines are also finished with Stone Wash – an extra mechanical treatment giving a unique vintage look with characteristic irregular patterns and a matt finish.

PVD FEATURES

  • exceptional surface hardness (1000-2500HV)
  • greater resistance to wear and abrasion
  • resistance to UV rays, solvents, acids, alkalis and most household cleaners
  • better corrosion resistance than any other surface treatment
