Product description
A 380ml spirits glass from the Alkemist line – its success lies in combining design complexity with the typical lightness of a tasting glass, an alchemy that makes the line unique. Growing demand and suggestions from some of the world's leading hotels and restaurants led the manufacturer to develop a water glass and a gin glass. The line, including stemmed and stemless glasses, suits both professional and home use.
RCR Cristalleria Italiana is a story that began in 1967 in the heart of Tuscany, from the idea of a group of artisans who expressed the highest level of glassmaking art with courage and talent. RCR products are designed to effectively meet the main requirements of durability, clarity, brilliance and functionality in the professional world and for home use. All RCR Cristalleria products are made of Luxion®, RCR's patented crystal glass that can be recycled endlessly. The use of fine oxides in its formula ensures a high level of quality, immediately visible to the naked eye and perceptible in the strength, transparency, brilliance and resonance of the products.
Features of the Alkemist line
- Transparency: Higher optical transmission values indicate a purer raw material and the glass's improved ability to let light through.
- Resistance: Higher Vickers hardness values ensure resistance to abrasion, cuts and scratches.
- Brilliance: Higher refractive index values indicate a greater ability of the glass to reflect light, creating effects typical of brilliants and cut glass.
- Dishwasher safe: LUXION does not lose its brilliance, even in machines with industrial cycles.
- Perfect ring: A higher density value ensures high resonance and reflects the quality of the raw materials.

Use and maintenance
Show tips
- Wash and rinse glasses thoroughly before first use.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g. hot water into a chilled glass), as they can cause thermal shock.
- Load glasses in the dishwasher so they do not touch each other; use a rinse aid for a spot-free shine.
- Do not nest glasses inside one another unless they are specifically designed to stack.
Frequently asked questions
