Product description
A GN 2/3 lidded storage container for eggs, ensuring food safety and clear visibility of the contents. Replacing the supplier's original packaging avoids introducing new contamination sources into the cold room. With eggs this is especially important, as eggs and egg boxes are a traditional source of salmonella transmission. Porous materials such as wood or cardboard are not permitted in cold rooms by regulations, as they are unhygienic, and must be replaced with materials such as plastic. It is also recommended to have separate areas for different foods and to store eggs in a separate cold room.

What do GN 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 ... mean?
GN 1/1 is the base size of 530 x 325 mm. Smaller containers are fractions of it (e.g. GN 1/2 = 325 x 265 mm, GN 1/3 = 325 x 176 mm, GN 1/4 = 265 x 162 mm, GN 1/6 = 176 x 162 mm), so they can be freely combined in one frame.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
The online shop accepts orders 24 hours a day. Orders received Monday to Friday by 12 noon are processed the same day; orders received after 12 noon are processed on the next working day. Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are processed on the first working day. If an item is no longer in stock at the time of ordering, the delivery time is extended in line with the manufacturer’s lead time. When several items are ordered at once, we reserve the right to consolidate them in one dispatch warehouse and ship them together, which may extend the delivery time.
