Glass Cups & Saucers
Glass cups with saucers for tea, latte, cappuccino and hot drinks – made of tempered or double-walled (thermo) glass that withstands hot beverages. Clear glass shows off the layers of the drink, making them popular in cafés and hotels.
How do glass cups differ?
Apart from shape and design, they differ in the following key properties:
TEMPERED GLASS – Rapid cooling after production changes the structure of the glass, increasing impact resistance (up to 2.5 times) and resistance to thermal shock (temperature difference up to 110 °C).
CRYSTAL GLASS – Higher-quality raw materials give crystal glass greater clarity and brilliance than ordinary glass. Because it is also stronger, the walls can be thinner, which gives a distinctive premium feel.
THIN RIM (LASER CUT) – A laser-cut rim is thinner and more even, making drinking more pleasant, while the rim is more durable and less prone to chipping.
STACKABILITY – The shape allows glasses to be stacked securely on top of each other and separated easily, even when hot from the dishwasher. Stackable glasses take up less space in storage and behind the bar.
