Whisky & Tumbler Glasses
Whisky and spirit tumblers (old fashioned, rocks glasses) with a heavy, stable base for whisky, rum, cocktails on the rocks and negronis. Available in various capacities, including glasses with 20, 30 and 50 ml fill lines.
How do whisky and tumbler glasses differ?
Apart from shape and design, they differ in the following key properties:
CE/MID MARK – Glasses with a fill line certified under Directive 2014/32/EU (MID), which guarantees accurate volume marks – a legal requirement for serving drinks in the hospitality trade.
TEMPERED GLASS – Rapid cooling after production changes the structure of the glass, increasing impact resistance (up to 2.5 times) and resistance to thermal shock (temperature difference up to 110 °C).
CRYSTAL GLASS – Higher-quality raw materials give crystal glass greater clarity and brilliance than ordinary glass. Because it is also stronger, the walls can be thinner, which gives a distinctive premium feel.
THIN RIM (LASER CUT) – A laser-cut rim is thinner and more even, making drinking more pleasant, while the rim is more durable and less prone to chipping.
STACKABILITY – The shape allows glasses to be stacked securely on top of each other and separated easily, even when hot from the dishwasher. Stackable glasses take up less space in storage and behind the bar.
UNBREAKABLE – Special lines made of plastics (e.g. Tritan, polycarbonate) that are practically unbreakable and pose no risk of cuts – ideal for terraces, pools, beaches and events.
