Frequently asked questions – Stemware
Why do wine glasses have a stem?
The stem stops the hand from warming the drink and keeps the bowl free of fingerprints, which matters for the appearance and tasting of wine and sparkling wine.
Are stemmed glasses available tempered?
Yes, many stemware lines are made of tempered or crystal glass that is more resistant to breakage and frequent commercial dishwashing. Use the property filter to find them.
